What you need to know about Manuka
he balm is incredibly versatile and can be applied to the delicate skin surrounding your eyes—making it a go-to remedy for eyelid eczema. Just remember to steer clear of direct eye contact.
For those dealing with open or oozing skin conditions, our balm is a game-changer. Layer it with sudocream to create an additional barrier, particularly if the affected area is wet. This dual-action approach is designed to accelerate the healing of broken skin and ward off staph infections, reducing inflammation before it escalates.
However, it's crucial to remember that if your symptoms persist, it's time to consult a healthcare professional to rule out any secondary viral, fungal, or bacterial infections.
What sets our Manuka Oil Balm apart is its unparalleled antiseptic properties, making it a top-tier natural solution for skin care. Trust us; your skin will thank you for it.

This cream is a miracle.
’m so glad I found it. My sister actually recommended me the propolis balm which I found good also but with my order dermagen gave me a Manuka oil cream tester and I instantly fell in love with it!
It relieves the soreness and relieves the redness too. It is also a great moisturiser that helps with the dryness/flakiness.

FAQs
Both balms have been developed for almost the same conditions, we needed an alternative to those who are allergic to pollen and Propolis or don’t want anything with bee product ie vegan.
They will both do the same thing it just comes down to preference.
We have formulated the balms to use for the more severe areas, once or twice a day. Ideally with a tubifast or cotton wrap as it stops them from scratching and the product stays on for longer.
Manuka oil balm would be perfect for this as it’s very hydrating and will help support skin healing, plus reduce the inflammation. Active 8 serum would be good to use together too.
There are no nuts or dairy in our products. Avocado oil is in the Manuka oil cream. We use the Manuka oil, not manuka honey, however, they both come from the same plant. The oil is just more concentrated.
The Manuka Oil Balm can mix in with some sudocream. It will bring the redness down and help heal the raw skin.
Manuka has its own antiseptic and inhibits Candida which is a common yeast that causes fungal infection in moist, humid areas. As they are just 6 weeks old, I would mix half and half of Manuka oil balm with sudocream.
At about 4-5 months, you can probably use it without diluting it, but the zinc oxide in sudocream is very soothing and also creates an extra barrier and prevents urine or other irritants from further aggravating the skin.
We would recommend the balms (Propolis Balm or the Manuka Oil Balm if you’re allergic to Propolis), as they don’t have any alcohol, preservatives, parabens, fragrance, etc that may irritate skin that is already inflamed and reactive.
You can also apply a layer of zinc oxide ( sudocream), to act as a barrier once you’ve applied the balms, and cover up with cotton gloves.
The skin will heal quicker this way as it’s occlusive and will absorb faster into the skin.
Manuka oil and Propolis are antiseptic, antiviral, antifungal, helps soothe the itch and inflammation and will help broken skin heal.
