Urea 5%, Salicylic Acid 2% & Lactic Acid 2% Cream

This cream is suitable for the exfoliation of the buildup of dry, flaky, or shedding skin such as: 

- psoriasis plagues. 

- keratosis pilaris. 
- dry, rough scaly patches on sun-damaged skin.

- cracked heals.

- rough skin on elbow or knee. 

Urea has traditionally been used in skincare for its unique combination of keratolytic ( exfoliating) and intense hydrating properties.  It helps with the rapid turnover of skin cells leading to the improvement of dry, flaking and scaly skin.

Urea is also part of your skin's "Natural Moisturising Factor" (NMF) thus helps to promote rehydration of the skin and replenishes the natural moisture content of the skin barrier. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory agent on skin that may have a damaged barrier function.

Ideally used in combination with our Manuka Oil Lotion or Propolis or Manuka Oil balm, to soothe any skin redness or irritation and promote new skin regeneration.

Salicylic Acid and Lactic Acid helps to remove dead, flaking skin reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots by exfoliating the top dead layer of skin. 

Skin looks smoother and more hydrated. 

Precautions:  This has a higher amount of Salicylic Acid, so should not be used on skin that is very thin, fragile, open, broken or bleeding. (It should only be used for a few weeks or months at a time as applying it on too frequently may cause the skin to be too thin).

* Some people may experience a mild tingling sensation when using products with Salicylic Acid or Lactic Acid. This is normal and only lasts a few minutes.
