• minimized gastrointestinal side effects for example some oral pain medications can cause nausea and vomiting.

For most drugs administered orally, they are usually absorbed from the small intestine, and travels to the liver before being transported via the bloodstream to its target site.

Delivery methods that bypass the gut can minimise side-effects in the body such as drowsiness and decreased mental alertness, and gastro-intestinal side effects such as nausea.

Delivery through the skin is ideal if:

- you need a high dose of medication to get results but you are getting side effects from taking the drug orally.

- you are trying to minimise the side-effects on the gut such as nausea and vomiting.

- you have pain in one or a few, localised areas.

- you have compromised liver function and would like to minimise the effects on the liver.

Products can be customised to the symptoms you are experiencing and if you have any allergies or allergic reaction to certain medications or ingredients.

Ingredients include:

- Ketoprofen ( NSAID anti-inflammatory to decrease swelling and pain).

- Ibuprofen ( NSAID anti-inflammatory to decrease swelling and pain)

- Micronised PEA ( Palmitoyethanolamide to help with inflammation and nerve pain).

- Lignocaine ( a local anaesthetic for quick pain relief).

- Tetracaine ( a local an anaesthetic with a longer duration of action than Lignocaine). 

- Menthol ( has local cooling effect, causes vasodilation allowing more blood flow to the area, which helps with the healing process, and provides pain relief. Menthol applied topically is also beneficial for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy or post-mastectomy pain syndrome, sports injuries, neuropathic pain and migraine). 

These are compounded using the latest technology available so that the product has a high efficiency, an even distribution of actives with little air bubbles and are supplied in airless pumps to ensure you get all the doses and that the ingredients stay out of contact with air and bacteria.
