Nature's calming remedy..Terpene oil for reduced stress and anxiety.

Do you ever feel like you're one step away from becoming a nervous Nellie or a jittery Jack? Well, you're not alone, my friend. Sometimes life can be overwhelming, and we all need a little help to find our chill.

The ECS Botanics Calm Terpene Blend is designed to support the central nervous system to induce calm and reduce emotional stress, irritability and restlessness.

The formulation is made from premium organic Australian hemp oil blended with terpenes chosen for their ability to assist with anxiety and overall well-being. The combination of the terpene oil is:

  • Myrcene
  • D-Limonene
  • Beta-Caryophyllene

Together, these terpenes promote a sense of calm and relaxation, making the terpene oil blend a popular choice for those looking for natural ways to manage stress and anxiety.

Servings per bottle: 30-120 doses

Serving Size: 0.25ml-1ml

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients in the Calm terpene oil blend include Hemp Seed Oil, Myrcene (300mg) D-Limonene (300mg), and Linalool (150mg).

Here are some of the benefits associated with each ingredient:

  • Hemp Seed Oil: Hemp seed oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are essential for overall health and well-being. It has been shown to help reduce inflammation and improve skin health.
  • D-Limonene: It is believed that D-Limonene interacts with neurotransmitters in the brain, such as serotonin and dopamine, which are associated with mood regulation. By promoting the production of these neurotransmitters, D-Limonene can help to reduce feelings of anxiety and promote a more positive mood.
  • Myrcene: One way in which Myrcene promotes relaxation and reduces anxiety is by its sedative properties. Myrcene has been found to have a calming effect on the central nervous system, which can help to reduce feelings of anxiety and promote relaxation.
  • Beta-Caryophyllene: Beta-Caryophyllene has been found to have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to reduce physical tension and promote relaxation.
  • Linalool: It has been found to have sedative properties, which can help to promote relaxation and improve sleep quality. These effects are likely due to linalool's ability to increase the production of the neurotransmitter GABA, which is known to have a calming effect on the brain.

The product is all-natural, gluten-free, GMO-free, vegan-friendly, not tested on animals.

WHAT ARE TERPENES?

Terpenes are a large and diverse class of organic compounds that are found in many plants, including cannabis, pine trees, and citrus fruits.

Ingesting terpenes can also enhance the effects of other compounds, such as cannabinoids. When terpenes and cannabinoids are consumed together, they can work together to produce a more potent and effective therapeutic effect, known as the entourage effect.

What is the difference between terpenes and cannabinoids?

Terpenes and cannabinoids are both natural compounds found in the cannabis plant, but they have distinct differences in their chemical structure, effects on the body, and potential therapeutic benefits.

Terpenes are a class of organic compounds that are produced by a wide variety of plants, including cannabis. They are responsible for the plant's distinct aroma and flavour, and are characterized by a particular arrangement of carbon and hydrogen atoms in their chemical structure. Cannabinoids, on the other hand, are a class of compounds that are unique to the cannabis plant. The most well-known cannabinoid is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is responsible for the plant's psychoactive effects.

FAQs

Being allergic to bee venom is different to being allergic to bee-products. Propolis is made from bee's saliva and pollen, resin and plant extracts. A bee's sting contains the toxin melittin and is meant to discourage potential threats from coming close to the hive and queen bee. It is meant to induce an extremely painful and uncomfortable reaction. A bee uses it's saliva and mixes it with tree resin and pollen to make glue or propolis to patch up it's hive. Propolis exists to keep the hive safe from microbial contamination.

Spray with a toner on clean skin, then massage a few drops of an oil serum, followed by a cream to seal in the oils. Just using an oil serum on it's own will not replace the moisture in the skin. Moisture or water is contained in a cream, not a balm or oil.

A balm does not contain water, so has no preservatives or alcohol which may cause stinging on broken, raw and inflamed skin. Whan the skin is in that condition, it is generally more sensitive and reactive. A balm is also better suited for skin that needs intensive treatment with actives as it sits on the skin for longer and allows better penetration of actives. It also contain waxes such as beeswax or candelilla wax (plant version of beeswax) which will increase hydration of the skin by preventing moisture loss from the skin's surface. It acts as a natural barrier when the skin is broken and compromised. It may feel oiler on the face, so a serum or cream would be better for the face.
